                               The sinharaja raniforest is the larges trainfor est reserve in Sri Lanka.In 1840  sinharaja was crown property.In 1988 the sinharaja was made a National Wilderness area.In 1989  UNESCO  included the sinharaja. Forest in the. World  Heritaye of Sri Lanka. 

Usally I get up 6.00 Clock. In The morning. Then I brush my Teeth and Wash my Face.I have my breakfast. After Having. My Breakfast I Wetar My school Uniform. Afater That I Worship My Parents. I Take MySchool bay and do to School. Iget to school. Igo to School by Bus. My school begins at 8.00 a.m. I go to school in time. I help my friends to ciean the classroom. Then I learn my lessons. There are Eight Sujects. During interval. I go to the play ground and play with my frinds. The school cloes at 2.00 p.m. I come back home at about 3.00 p.m.Then I have my lunch I rest for some time. Then I watch the T.V. at abut 8.00 p.m. Ihave my dinner. I read books till 9.00 p.m. Then I watch the T.V. again. At about 10.00 I worship my Partents and goto bet. 

   My Contry is Sri lanka.It is an island in the Indian Ocean. It is also Called the Pearl of  the Indian Ocean. This is an agriultural country. Most of the people are farmers. Our staple food is rice. There are several Communities in my country. They are the Sinhala, the Tamils, the Muslims and the Burghers. The Population of Sri Lanka is about 19 millions. Our main imports are food, cloths and machinery. Our main exports are tea, rubber and coconuts. Our country became a Republic in 1972. We gained independence in 1948. Now We are a free nation. Sri Jayawardanapura Kotte is the capital of sri Lanka. Our commercial capital is Colombo. Piduruthalagala is the highest mountain and Mahaveli is the longest river. I Love My Country very mush.  

     My Friend is Hasun, Kasun, , Malith, Sampath, Chinthaka, Niwantha, Pubudu. My Best Friend is Kosala Bandara.He lives at Borawewa. He goes to Nikawewa Dewanam piyathissa madya maha vidyalaya.He is grade ten. He goes to school on bus.His favouite subject is English. His habby is reading books. He likes to play Cricket too. He is fourteen years old.Kosala’s father is a teacher. His mather is a teacher. He has one brothers. They are schooling. Kosala is very kind His ambition is to be a teacher.He ioften comes to see me at the weekend. We play together. I love him much.He too loves me 

      There are many place of historical value in sri Lanka.Sigiriya is one of them.Sigiriya is a rock fortress built by one of our Sinhalese kings. It was built by king Kasyapa.It is situated in the Matale district. Sigiriya is world famous for its frescoes. Hundreds of foreign tourists visit this place everyday. It has become a popular place among the local tourists too.We can also see the inscriptions on the mirror wall. They are called Graffiti. These verses have been written on this wall by the visitors in ancient times. The height of the rock is about 600 feet. There are ruins of an ancient palace on the top of the rock.          My village is matalovawa. It is a small village in the Kurunegala District. There are nearly two hundred FAmilies in my Villge.This isn an Agricultura alareMost of the village Are Farmers. They grow paddy, Fruits and Vegetaoles. They take theri Produce to the village fair .There is a vast Strech of Paddy fields in my village Tank for theri Cult vation Purposes.

                  My Favourite sport is cricket. It is the most popuar sport in sri lanka. today.
I like to play cricket everyday. We play cricket in the Open air. It is Veri good for our health. Exercises are needed fpr the development of our body. We getalot of Exercises when Playing cricket.
We have a cricket team in our school. Sarath is the captain of our team. He is very clever. I too want to Practise hard and play for my school.
Sri lanka cricket team is world fomous. My favourite cricketeter is sanath jayauriya.of the Sri lanka team.
